Great Horned Owl "The Wisdom Of the Ages" In this piece the base is covered in petroglyhs which I found in various locations throughout the southwest particualrly in the painted desert area of Arizona and Petrofied forest in New Mexico. These images include a snake, a lizard, mountain sheep, roadrunner, and indian shaman spirit with several celestial images such as the sun. One of my favorite images is an interpretation of the effect of rain on the surface of water.
