Major Achievements

Designed and supervised building of entire fine arts foundry to handle production requirements for major mail order program designed by American Express Corporation to sell art work of my design. Mail order sales were $1,450,000 over a two year period, 1981-1982. Peak production requirements were 3,250 finished sculptures in three months. Production requirements were met on a timely basis.
During career has designed and marketed approximately 100 limited edition sculptures.

In 1972, designed one of the first Vietnam war memorials for Major General John Bennett, 4th Division Fort Carson , CO to honor the service men of the 4th Division who lost their lives in Vietnam

1965-1968 San Francisco Art Foundry - Foundry apprenticeship

1969-1973 Commissioned Officer US Army. Planned and supervised construction projects for Army Corp of Engineers

1973-1981 Developed talents as sculptor and expanded distribution of work to twelve Galleries throughout USA

1981-1986 Built and operated fine arts foundry in Fort Collins, Co. to handle production and distribution of sculptures and to provide production services to other artists

1986 Public speaking: Invited to speak as guest lecturer for the American Foundrymen’s Society seminar on fine art production procedures at Santa Clara University

1987 Provided consulting services to Maui Bronze, Hiaku, Maui, Hawaii, for production layouts and patina applications Designed and developed a computerized set of management files for fine arts galleries

1987-1989 Provided consulting services to Monterey Sculpture Center for production layouts and patina applications. Developed art sales programs for Monterey Presentation Art, a division of Monterey Sculpture Center

1989-1990 Provided training to foundry personnel at Buffalo BronzeWorks, Sedona, AZ Provided educational services about bronze sculpture to general public for Mountain Trails Gallery, Sedona, AZ

1990-1996 Purchased and operated Buffalo Bronze Works, the original Sedona foundry
