"Mama"

 This is my portrait. I liked to knit.
Also I like that the baskets are at home. And there is a cat on the picture, the cats always lived in our home. I liked them. Sergey had drawn me  dressed in white knitting gown which I had knitted myself, in that time when I studied at Academy of Culture.  I worked as all students in that time must work on such job in the beginning of study year on the village fields outside St.-Petersburg: picked  carrot and beet. In time of this work I was dreaming about knitting white dress and began to plan this knitting in my mind. After three days of work I has fallen ill and received a permission to leave. Instead of to go to a doctor I rushed to market and bought some white thread (yarn). I washed it and began to knit when thread was yet damp. The dress was very beautiful, I liked it and even was in this dress in a day of
wedding.
