A Seal
Rock Sea Siren

Seal Rock is a small town on the Central Oregon Coast, which
became my home after leaving Los Angeles. The figure is both
a mermaid and a single ocean wave. A male voyeur in lower
left corner. A large eyeball stares from the far left interior
of the wave. Women’s arms and feminine forms appear
at lower leg level. And below her right arm appear the long
red baleen-like lines which remind me of watching the long
line of Rockettes dancing in perfect precision. The bull occasionally
accompanies the fair damsel in ancient legends.
