It seems apparent that whatever training the artisans who
made the Ark had would have received would have been in Egypt
prior to the Exodus. It is my belief the design of the Ark
Moses conceptualized would have been influenced by his experiences
in Egypt. What seems regrettable is that to my knowledge this minimal
standard had never been used to make an illustration of the
